Great to meet you!

I'm so glad you're here, taking such an important step in caring for yourself. I specialize in working with adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, disordered eating and body image issues, existential concerns amidst personal or global traumas and injustices, challenges within family dynamics and relationships, as well as grief and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I use acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, relaxation, and stress management techniques. I'm also board-certified and licensed in music psychotherapy, which utilizes interventions involving music to help process trauma, regulate emotions, and improve self-expression.

What you can expect from me

This is a mutual relationship, so as I learn more about you and what brings you into therapy, you have every right to ask me about my qualifications and experience. We will cover informed consent and your goals for treatment. I'll ask you about symptoms you are struggling with and a bit about your background and history. I encourage openness and collaboration in sessions together so that we can tailor this treatment to exactly what you're needing.
