Great to meet you!

You don’t have to carry everything on your own. Healing begins when you finally have a space where you can be fully seen, heard, and understood without judgment. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Peer Support Specialist, and Community Health Worker, I bring more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. My work has included helping youth and families navigate trauma, foster care, family reunification, and systemic barriers. Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, I am deeply committed to serving my community and helping people reconnect with their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you uncover the strengths, insight, and tools that already exist within you while providing guidance, support, and practical strategies along the way. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented, creating a space where you can lead the process at your own pace. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, explore challenges without judgment, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward goals that align with the life you want to build. My style is warm, compassionate, honest, and supportive, with a focus on helping you feel empowered, confident, and capable of lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. We will discuss confidentiality, safety, and what therapy may look like moving forward while creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself. There is no pressure to have all the answers or share everything at once. You can expect to be met exactly where you are, with space to tell your story, explore what has brought you to therapy, and begin reconnecting with your own voice. Together, we will start identifying concerns, patterns, and goals so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and support.
