Dr. Ashley is a serial entrepreneur, certified financial social worker, TedX speaker. Dr. Ashley work focuses on mental and financial wellness specifically serving women of color. Dr. Ashley specializes in financial education, anxiety reduction and helping clients to understand why they spend the way that they spend.
I engage in many approaches, first building rapport and establishing a solid therapeutic alliance. I use assessments to help increase awareness, I use CBT to assist with understanding their thought life and we work together to personalize a plan to move forward and decrease barriers. I am a therapist that gives homework to empower my clients to do the work.
