Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Ashley Nash, a licensed clinical mental health provider, nationally certified counselor, certified trauma therapist, award-winning author, and most importantly, a survivor. My therapeutic approach is rooted in providing person-centered care unique to the individual and their experiences. As a survivor turned mental health provider, I align with the mantra to "be the person that I needed when I was younger."

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach centers on finding the root cause of actions and reactions hindering positive growth. Oftentimes, by the time we are adults, we have normalized our ways as a method of survival, ways that can be more damaging now. My approach to therapy is to assist others in discovering and better understanding their "why."

What you can expect from me

My ultimate goal in therapy is to create comfort in being completely honest with yourself. I have worked as a counselor for over a decade, and in my experience, a fear of truth is a common obstacle. Who you are is on the other side of deciphering how it differs from the person others expect you to be.
