Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) and a Doctor of Human Services (DHS), with over five years of clinical experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem concerns. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative, individualized experience that meets each client where they are. My approach incorporates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused techniques. I focus on helping clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence in managing life's challenges. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions while working toward realistic, meaningful goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and creating a comfortable environment where you feel safe sharing your experiences. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, explore relevant personal history, and identify the goals you would like to work toward. I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, so there is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with. Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment approach that supports your needs, strengths, and overall emotional well-being.
