Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and mental health coach. I have been in the mental health field for over 13 years.

I have a masters of science in social work from Columbia University in the City of New York. I am specialized in health and mental health.

I offer both therapy and mental health coaching and consulting, tailored to support your unique journey.

I speak English and Arabic fluently and come from a diverse cultural background.

My passion is about empowering individuals to live their best lives while working to normalize and decolonize mental health.

Outside of my awesome work, I’m a wife, mother and active member of the community who loves reading, hiking, tatreez and baking.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health cannot be separated from the systems we live in. My work is grounded in decolonial and liberation psychology —which means I help you understand not just your individual struggles, but how culture, identity, and systems show up in your life and healing.

I integrate multiple therapeutic modalities to meet you where you are, including trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and more. This means we work with your whole system—your body, heart and mind and lived experience—rather than compartmentalizing your pain.

What you can expect from me

Our first session should feel like a light chat. It is about building trust and creating safety —not rushing into deep work. I'll listen to what brought you here, ask questions to understand your world and context. You'll leave with a sense of what therapy with me looks like and what's possible, with no pressure to commit to anything beyond that moment.
