Great to meet you!

My clinical experience has focused on treating mental health conditions including eating disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also offer affirmative support to members of the queer community; I am knowledgeable of the unique challenges and stressors that they face both personally and professionally. I want to improve our understanding of what impacts the mental & emotional well-being of queer people to flourish and explore their own unique identity.

My approach to therapy

I will work collaboratively with you to set step by step goals. I’m all about skill building and problem solving if you are looking for practical advice on how to manage your emotions, racing thoughts, life stress, or relationships. I’m also a big believer that information is power; the more you understand about your diagnosis and symptoms, the less you’ll need me! I’ll always be open and transparent with you about what we are working on in therapy and why.

What you can expect from me

As a trauma specialist, I use modalities such as Cognitive Processing Therapy to help you process past traumatic experiences. The more we research trauma, the more we understand that everyone has or will experience it at some point in their life. If you haven’t been able to heal from painful past experiences, I can help you through that. You are free to talk through anything with me, and you deserve to feel safe and respected when you open up, especially about what is hard or painful.
