Audrey Angelopoulos

I'm a licensed mental health counselor with an LMHC in Massachusetts and an LCMHC in New Hampshire. Most of my clinical background comes from community mental health work, including several years on an assertive community treatment team supporting clients experiencing psychosis and first episode symptoms. I'm also a certified play therapist, and I spent time coaching other clinicians on play therapy and psychosis focused care. Right now I work as a behavioral health supervisor, which has kept me close to clinical work even while I've stepped back from carrying a full caseload of my own. I'm returning to direct client work because it's the part of this field I've missed the most.

My clinical focus is psychosis and first episode psychosis, transition age youth, and trauma. I've worked with clients as young as two and as old as eighty seven, though for telehealth I work best with clients fourteen and up. I tend to work with the more complex, less clear cut presentations, the cases where people are still figuring out what's going on, and I like sitting with that uncertainty alongside my clients rather than rushing toward a tidy answer.

I work well with clients who feel like their experience has been hard for others to understand, especially around psychosis, trauma, or a new diagnosis. I bring steadiness and curiosity rather than judgment, and I move at the pace that works for you. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
