Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adult survivors of childhood abuse, neglect, dysfunctional family systems, PTSD, Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), attachment wounds, disenfranchised grief (visit twodoveswellness.com for an explanation of this) and loss-related grief. I use an eclectic approach of various modalities with an emphasis on psychoeducation, somatic experiencing and Polyvagal theory. You will befriend your nervous system. I am an Attachment Trauma Treatment Specialist licensed in Michigan, Texas and Alabama. Together, we work to better understand how past experiences may still be impacting present-day emotions, relationships, and patterns of behavior.

I provide telehealth therapy for adults in Michigan, Texas and Alabama. Commercial Insurance and Private pay only.

My approach to therapy

My approach is exploratory, supportive, and rooted in education and empowerment.

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I draw from multiple therapeutic frameworks including CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), depending on each client’s unique needs.

Psychoeducation is also a key part of my work — especially around the nervous system and how trauma can shape our thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we’ll begin getting to know each other.

We’ll go at your pace — whether that means diving into what brought you to therapy, or simply getting comfortable talking through what support might look like for you. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and what you’re hoping to work on. You’re always in control of what you share and when.

This session is also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and ask any questions you may have about the therapy process. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and just a little more hopeful — knowing that you don’t have to navigate things alone anymore.
