Great to meet you!

I am here because I want to help you build the path to healing and wellness in your life as you explore what that means for you individually. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood trauma. I believe trauma recovery happens in the presence of restorative attachment through building trust-based relationships that include a sense of safety, predictability, and consistency.

My approach to therapy

We can utilize therapeutic interventions to help you feel more empowered and present in your daily life. I offer EMDR techniques that will help us identify and explore impacts of past trauma experiences, ongoing intrusive memories and trauma related symptoms, installation of coping resources, and decrease the intensity of emotional responses to distressing life events. We can also engage in TF-CBT techniques to encourage identifying and connecting emotions, thoughts, and feelings of past trauma to current behavioral and emotional reactions and reframing the trauma narrative to empower your resilience and perseverance. I also offer an eclectic integration of ACT, MI, Play Therapy, Narrative therapy, Positive Psychology, and IFS techniques. I am a TAC accredited clinician and provide adoption competent care for all ages.

What you can expect from me

Our sessions will occur via telehealth; the first intake assessment session is typically a little longer and can take approximately 2 hours, and will be set to your pace. This session will consist of history gathering and identifying any ongoing mental health symptoms or challenges you would like to work on in order to establish treatment goals. Starting therapy with a new provider can be difficult; there are no expectations, I am here to provide support as you identify your needs and desires.
