Great to meet you!

I'm someone who values change, growth, and new experiences, which is what brought me from Connecticut to Hawaii several years ago. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut (UCONN) in 2016, building upon a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a Psychology minor. My career has included working at Yale New Haven Hospital in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and with individuals living with severe mental illness across geriatric, adolescent, and adult psychiatric units. I have also provided hospice support for individuals and families navigating palliative care and end-of-life concerns. Currently, I work as an outpatient Clinician supporting mental health for Veterans.

I became a therapist because I have a genuine desire to help people. I have appreciated having the opportunity to help individuals move toward relief, gain clarity, recognize their strengths and navigate life transitions with greater confidence and support.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, I focus on meeting you where you are and making sure you feel comfortable and understood. I know that everyone moves at their own pace, especially when it comes to tough topics like trauma, so I never rush the process. My goal is to create a space where you can talk openly, whether you want to meet weekly, every few months, or just when you feel ready.

What you can expect from me

What can clients expect from their first session? During our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you and what brings you in, and you can ask any questions you have. I want you to feel at ease, so there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. Together, we’ll talk about your goals and what you hope to get out of therapy, and we’ll figure out a pace and approach that feels right for you.
