Great to meet you!

Working with adults of all abilities navigating life’s curveballs. This space is especially affirming of LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent minds, and those living with chronic illness or disability. Licensed in Utah and Idaho, with several years of prior clinical experience in counseling and rehabilitation settings. Therapy here prioritizes inclusivity, authenticity, and radical acceptance. It’s not a straight path, it’s more like a trail through wild terrain, learning to read an emotional compass, repairing the backpack of self-worth, and sometimes finding moments of joy along the way. A wide range of experiences are welcome, navigating anxiety or feeling overwhelmed, moving through grief or life transitions, and working through relationship challenges or disconnection. This can include identity exploration, self-doubt, or the pull to shrink oneself to fit or be chosen, along with the impact of aging, caregiving roles, or experiences connected to military life.

My approach to therapy

Sessions focus on facilitating change, improving communication, and exploring central beliefs about self, others, and the world. Therapy integrates trauma-informed care, including cognitive and mindfulness-based approaches (CBT, mindfulness-based CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and parts-informed work, alongside Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and mindful somatic approaches to trauma and wellness, supporting nervous system regulation, resilience, and greater awareness of how experiences can be held in the body, learning to notice and stay present with what arises, and building capacity to hold more than one truth at a time. The work is guided by curiosity, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s pace and lived experience.

What you can expect from me

Identifying what a meaningful life would look like and working towards achieving that life with purpose and fulfillment is always my hope. One that is lived according to one's values, passions, and beliefs, and one that contributes to the well-being of oneself and others. Engaging in therapy is a brave step, and finding the right therapist can be a challenge. I believe and know that I can accommodate a lot of different personalities within unique situations and I believe humor is healing.
