Each day, I enjoy the new opportunities to help those around me. I understand the importance of meeting clients where they are at in their journey. I was trained in a trauma-focused approach and recognize that not all traumas are recognized as such. It's within the potential space of the therapeutic experience that we can grow beyond our prior limitations.

As the Taoist parable of the farmer goes, "Who knows what is good and what is bad?" Many things in our lives may appear to be one way or the other, but labeling it as such also limits its effects. Therapy is about finding your reframe of mind, where you will also be able to find the positive in what may appear negative on the surface.
While sessions are self-directed in nature, there's also a portion of solution-focused treatment so we have both discussions within session and whatnot to work on outside of session.
