Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm glad you're here. My name is Ayesha (she/her) and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience working in mental health and advocacy settings. I particularly enjoy working with trauma survivors, folks with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses, transition-aged adults, and aspiring cycle-breakers. I recognize that healing is not only a tool for personal transformation but also a catalyst for collective liberation.

My approach to therapy

My practice is grounded in anti-oppression, anti-racism, decolonization, and disability justice. I believe in the profound connection between mind and body and enjoy incorporating somatic and body-based modalities into my work. My approach is collaborative, real, and relaxed. I aspire to create an affirming, trauma-informed space where you can explore your identities, experiences, and relationships in the context of greater social and systemic forces.

What you can expect from me

We'll start by getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy. We'll work together to make sense of life's challenges and nurture clarity and awareness: these lightbulb moments are essential steps towards change. Next, we'll combine evidence-based practice and your inner wisdom to dive into your journey towards healing, empowerment, and wellness. Reach out if you're ready to get started - I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
