Great to meet you!

People often come to counseling when life isn't where they want it to be. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression, a relationship, addiction or recovery, grief, a major life transition, or simply feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what comes next.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of experience helping adults navigate difficult seasons and make meaningful changes in their lives. My experience has taught me that while our past shapes us, it does not have to determine where we go from here.

You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to counseling. We can start with where you are and work together toward a healthier way forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe good counseling begins with understanding you as a whole person, not simply focusing on a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Together, we'll explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped where you are today while also paying attention to what is happening in your life right now.

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based approaches and adapt our work to your individual needs and goals. We'll work to understand the road behind you, address what is getting in the way today, and develop healthier ways to move forward.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and create a space where you can be honest about what is happening in your life. I will support you, but I will also help you look honestly at patterns or choices that may be keeping you stuck.

My goal is for counseling to lead to meaningful change outside of our sessions. Over time, I want you to better understand yourself, develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others, and feel more confident making decisions that move your life in the direction you want it to go.
