Great to meet you!

I’ve spent most of my adult life trying to understand what makes us human—what drives us, what holds us back, what brings us peace, and how we heal. That deep curiosity is what led me to the field of mental health, and it’s what continues to inspire my work every single day.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from Eastern Washington University, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a wide range of settings—community mental health clinics, hospital medical units, psychiatric wards, health insurance companies, and even the prison system. Each of these experiences gave me a deeper understanding of the many ways people struggle, survive, and grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach isn’t shaped only by education and training—it’s shaped by real life. I’ve faced deep personal loss. I’ve wrestled with big questions about happiness, meaning, and change. I’ve sat in the client’s seat myself and done the work of therapy from the inside out. I understand what it’s like to feel broken or lost. I also know what it feels like to come out the other side—changed, but stronger and more self-aware.

That’s why I bring more than just clinical skills to this work. I bring compassion, honesty, and a commitment to really seeing you—not as a diagnosis or a “case,” but as a whole person with your own story, struggles, and strengths.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to let your guard down and strong enough to begin changing what no longer serves you. I believe therapy should be collaborative, respectful, and tailored to who you are—not one-size-fits-all. My role isn’t to tell you what to do—it’s to walk beside you, help you explore your thoughts and emotions, offer tools that actually work, and support you as you make the choices that are right for your life.

I work well with people who are ready to look inward, even if they’re nervous about it. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just need to show up, be honest, and be willing to explore. We’ll take it one step at a time.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next, I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey toward healing and growth. There’s no perfect path, but there is a way forward—and together, we can find it.
