Great to meet you!

Hi I'm Beck. I'm a clinical social worker who specializes in working with individuals around relationship challenges and adult attachment concerns, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and mental health during infertility and pregnancy.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaborative process. Together we identify your strengths and challenges and what would indicate meaningful change for you. I typically use a variety of approaches to support clients' progress. At times, I utilize EMDR therapy with clients to support particular goals related to trauma, substance use, or anxiety.

What you can expect from me

While clients often take away many concrete skills to manage symptoms or improve relationships, I also often support clients in identifying and shifting the core beliefs related to the reason they are coming to therapy. Sometimes when we shift our relationship to our emotions or to issues we are facing, we have more options. My goal is to support clients in building resilience and flexibility to allow them to face challenges with greater confidence and ease.
