Great to meet you!

I am warm, approachable, and compassionate, while also being direct and solution-focused when needed. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. My approach is collaborative I believe the best outcomes happen when we work together to understand your concerns, identify your strengths, and develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values. I am committed to building trusting relationships and providing care that is patient-centered, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or other mental health challenges, I aim to meet you with empathy, understanding, and practical guidance to help you move toward healing and wellness. Guided by God, I strive to serve each client with compassion, integrity, respect, and a genuine commitment to their well-being while honoring each person's individual beliefs and values.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is collaborative, holistic, and individualized. I recognize that each person's experiences, challenges, and goals are unique, so I take the time to listen carefully and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs. I believe in treating the whole person not just symptoms by considering emotional, psychological, physical, social, and, when important to the client, spiritual factors that may impact mental health and overall well-being.

I utilize evidence-based practices, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle-focused interventions, to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting improvement. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, where clients are actively involved in decisions about their care and treatment goals.

My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and empowered to take an active role in their healing journey. Guided by compassion, respect, and integrity and with God's help I strive to support each client in building resilience, improving mental wellness, and achieving a greater sense of balance and fulfillment in their lives.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we will take time to get to know one another. My primary goal is to understand your concerns, learn about your personal history, and gain insight into the challenges that brought you to seek care. We will discuss your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current stressors, lifestyle factors, strengths, and treatment goals.

This initial appointment is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you hope to gain from treatment. Together, we will begin developing a personalized care plan that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle strategies, or other supportive resources based on your individual needs.

I believe that successful treatment begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication. By the end of our session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your treatment options, the next steps in your care, and a collaborative plan to support your journey toward improved mental health and well-being. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
