Great to meet you!

Racing thoughts, days that feel heavier than they should, and a sense that your brain just isn't cooperating: these are signals worth paying attention to, not character flaws. I'm Ben, a licensed clinical social worker who works with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, and panic. Many of the people I work with have been carrying these struggles for a long time before they reach out, and they're often surprised by how much can actually shift when they have the right support.

My approach to therapy

Our work together starts by understanding what's getting in the way and building on what's already working. For people dealing with anxiety or panic, we focus on the thought patterns and responses that are keeping you stuck and find practical ways to change them. For people with ADHD, we develop strategies that match how your brain actually works, not how you think it should. The goal is always to leave you with tools and perspective you can use long after our sessions are done. I work best with people who are ready to be honest about what's hard and genuinely open to trying something different.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about getting a clear picture of your situation: what's been going on, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we connect. If you're wondering whether this might be a good fit, the best way to find out is to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you.
