Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor dedicated to providing a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. My background includes training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, with a focus on helping individuals navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and stress-related concerns.

My work is grounded in a holistic and client-centered perspective, meaning I tailor therapy to meet each person’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. I draw from a variety of approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and elements of systems theory, to help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, life adjustments, relationship dynamics, and personal growth. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult time or looking to better understand yourself, my goal is to walk alongside you and help you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to meet your unique needs and goals. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to support, guide, and challenge you in a way that promotes growth, insight, and lasting change.

I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), while also integrating person-centered and systems-based perspectives. This allows me to help you explore how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences are interconnected. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

My style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where you feel safe to be open and honest, while also providing thoughtful feedback and gentle challenges when appropriate. I work at your pace, ensuring that therapy feels both supportive and productive.

I have a particular focus on anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, and personal development. Whether we are building coping strategies, improving communication, or gaining deeper self-understanding, my goal is to help you feel more empowered, resilient, and aligned with the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and nonjudgmental environment where you have the space to share your story at your own pace. My primary goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported as we begin getting to know each other.

We will start by discussing what brings you to therapy, any current challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, and history to better understand your experiences, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to.

Together, we will begin identifying initial goals for therapy—whether that’s reducing anxiety, improving relationships, navigating a life transition, or gaining a better understanding of yourself. We will also talk about what a successful outcome looks like for you and how we can work toward it in a practical and manageable way.

You can also expect me to explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and collaborate with you on a plan moving forward. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction and next steps.
