Great to meet you!

I specialize in addiction, anxiety, grief/loss, anger management, and depression. I have an open approach that can be adapted to best meet the needs of your unique circumstances and believe that with the right tools, everyone is capable of change. I look forward to helping you discover and understand your inner strength, autonomy, and capacity for growth.

My approach to therapy

Do you feel like you have been stuck in a pattern that is holding you back? Have you tried everything you can think of to make a change, but are still feeling out of control or helpless?

That’s where I come in. My job is to empower my clients to become more effective problem solvers. I teach them how to be confident, how to harness emotions instead of just avoiding them, and how to discover and channel a growth mindset. I utilize a skills based approach drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to help you create a multi-faceted toolbox that can be used to face challenges disrupting your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, I will review my policy on confidentiality and informed consent to ensure that you are aware of what to expect when working with me. I will then work with you to identify the specific concerns that contributed to your decision to reach out for support. This will assist me in developed a treatment plan that we will work towards in follow up sessions.

I recognize that you are the expert on your experience and I strive to make the first session an opportunity to begin to learn your story.
