Benjamin Braney

I was recently fully licensed in the state of Okalahoma as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, but I have about 8 years of experience as a pre-licensed therapist in the states of Oregon and Washington.

I enjoy working with families, couples, teenagers, adults, and children. In addition to working in outpatient settings, I also have experience working as part of a crisis response team as well as working in partial hospitalization setting, providing me with experience in crisis situations.

I have experience working with struggles pertaining to anger management, trauma, depression, anxiety, and behavior modification. I also have experience working with marital and familial issues, but have also enjoyed working with children, teenagers, and adults.

I am equipped to promote healing from trauma through the use of EMDR techniques. I am also equipped to help families through Child-Centered Play Therapy techniques.

I offer humor, support, advocacy, education, a warm connection, and great listening skills. I tend to work from a Christian worldview, but am respectful of all backgrounds and able to work with a vast variety of clients. I am here to help clients to achieve their goals and heal.
