Bennett Urian

I provide teletherapy for kids, teens, and families across Colorado. My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and collaborative—we will move at your (or your child’s) pace, focusing on what feels safe and achievable. I integrate evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and person-centered approaches, weaving in mindfulness, self-compassion, and creative expression when it fits your needs. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, grounded energy and the sense that they can “just be themselves” without fear of judgement.

My clinical approach is also shaped by my experience working with a wide range of individuals and communities—including queer and trans clients, youth and families facing emotional or behavioral challenges, and individuals navigating incarceration and reentry. These diverse settings have strengthened my ability to adapt to each client’s unique needs with flexibility, care, and cultural sensitivity.

My role is to walk alongside you—supporting your insight, helping you identify your strengths, and offering tools that support real, sustainable change.
