Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with over 23 years of experience working with individuals and couples with issues related to anxiety, stress management, depression, relationship problems, career development, and life transitions. My qualifications include a Master's degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland at College Park, and I am a National Certified Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.

My approach to therapy

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to listen carefully to issues, build trusting therapeutic relationships, help clients identify patterns, and promote self-awareness and lasting life change.

What you can expect from me

The first session will focus on getting to know one another and building rapport through respect, sensitivity, and compassion. We will talk about why you're seeking counseling, and I will gather information about your history through questions. We will review your completed intake forms, and together we will create a therapeutic plan to work through in future follow-up sessions.
