Great to meet you!

Do you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck, even though you know what you want to do? Maybe you’re constantly worrying, avoiding important decisions, struggling in your relationships, or navigating a major life transition. Sometimes financial stress is part of what’s contributing to those challenges.

I’m Beth Walters, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Financial Therapist. I help adults understand the emotional patterns behind anxiety, financial stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Together, we’ll build awareness, reduce overwhelm, and develop practical strategies so you can feel more confident, make decisions with greater clarity, and move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I believe lasting change comes from understanding the patterns that keep you feeling stuck—not judging yourself for them.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Together we’ll identify patterns, build practical skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Every session is tailored to your goals, helping you better understand yourself, manage anxiety, improve relationships, and make meaningful progress in the areas of life that matter most.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation about what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s feeling most difficult right now, and what you’d like to be different. We’ll begin identifying the patterns contributing to your stress and create a plan that reflects your goals.

Many clients leave the first session feeling relieved to better understand what they’re experiencing and hopeful that meaningful change is possible.
