Great to meet you!

I completed my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) here in North Carolina.

I’ve been fortunate to work with children, teens, and adults as they navigate many different emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. I support people who are dealing with anxiety, relationship and marriage concerns, depression, trauma, divorce, and many of the difficult moments that can make life feel overwhelming.

In our work together, I draw from several approaches depending on your needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also enjoy exploring attachment patterns and personality styles—how these deeper parts of who we are shape the way we relate to others and move through the world. At times, I incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy to help you identify strengths, build momentum, and create practical steps forward. My goal is to use these tools in a flexible, collaborative way that feels supportive and empowering to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, relational, and I do my best to be grounded in compassion. I want you to feel genuinely seen and supported. My hope is to walk alongside you, helping you find clarity, healing, and growth in whatever season you’re in.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to begin getting to know one another in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to counseling, what you’re hoping for, and any concerns or questions you may have about the process. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll also ask some background questions to better understand your story, including important relationships, current stressors, and any past experiences with counseling if applicable. Together, we’ll start to identify goals for our work and what support might look like moving forward. Above all, my priority in the first session is helping you feel heard, understood, and at ease. Therapy is a collaborative process, and this first meeting is simply the beginning of building a trusting relationship where growth and healing can take place.
