Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering virtual therapy for adults seeking healing, balance, and growth. With over a decade of experience across child welfare, domestic violence, adult protective services, and community mental health, I provide compassionate, culturally responsive care that meets you where you are. I earned my Master of Social Work from Walden University and am currently completing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW).

My work focuses on helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, and relationship stress. I am especially passionate about supporting Caribbean, African American, and other diverse communities, where mental health stigma and cultural barriers can make seeking help more difficult. My practice is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in understanding the intersection of culture, identity, and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you can explore your story and take meaningful steps toward change. I use an integrative approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and psychodynamic principles, while incorporating mindfulness and holistic wellness strategies.

Together, we will identify patterns, explore emotions, and build coping tools that help you manage challenges with confidence. I view each client as the expert of their own experience, and my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, honesty, and cultural humility.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about connection and understanding. We’ll take time to discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin identifying what “feeling better” looks like for you. You can expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where you set the pace. I’ll share how the therapy process works, answer any questions you have, and outline a personalized plan tailored to your needs.

Since sessions are virtual, you can meet with me from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I also offer evening and weekend appointments to make therapy accessible and flexible. I hope that after our first meeting, you’ll feel heard, supported, and ready to begin your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
