Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Bianca Mitchell, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of nursing experience and specialized training in diagnosing and treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions in adolescents and adults.

I provide thoughtful, evidence-based medication management with a collaborative approach. I believe treatment works best when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care. Whether you're navigating stress, life transitions, focus challenges, or long-standing mental health concerns, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where we can work together toward stability and growth.

I have extensive experience in telepsychiatry and high-volume clinical settings, which has strengthened my ability to quickly identify patterns, tailor treatment plans, and provide efficient, compassionate care. I also incorporate elements of supportive therapy and cognitive-behavioral strategies during visits when appropriate.

My approach is direct, structured, and patient-centered. I value clarity, accountability, and open communication. If you're ready to take the next step toward feeling better and functioning at your best, I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, structured, and evidence-based. I believe mental health treatment works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care. I take time to thoroughly assess symptoms, history, and current stressors so we can develop a treatment plan that is both practical and personalized.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a thorough and supportive evaluation. We will review your current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical history, and any previous treatment experiences. I’ll ask detailed questions to understand not just what you’re feeling, but how it’s affecting your daily life, relationships, work, or school.

My goal in the first appointment is to gain a clear clinical picture and develop an initial treatment plan that feels realistic and personalized. If medication is appropriate, we will discuss options, potential benefits, side effects, and what to expect. I prioritize education and transparency so you feel confident in the decisions we make together.

You can expect a calm, respectful, and judgment-free environment. I encourage open communication and questions.
