Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Billie Hinton and I’m a licensed psychotherapist. I attended UT-Austin’s graduate program in clinical social work and have been practicing psychotherapy for 32 years. I specialize in sexual abuse, PTSD, anxiety and depression, LGBTQ issues, and have worked with a wide variety of clients and concerns. I’m a compassionate, creative clinician and my goal for each client is to create a safe, respectful, and effective space for change. (18+, not currently offering couples’ therapy)

My approach to therapy

I offer a safe and compassionate approach for exploring the issues a client is facing in the present, how that client’s history may be impacting their current situation, and creative guidance toward change and wellbeing. I am also now offering EMDR intensives.

What you can expect from me

I offer many techniques and tools for clients to take away with them from each session, and a creative approach to customize these when needed.
