Great to meet you!

Tired of feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or like you’re constantly trying to get your brain to cooperate?

I’m Blair, a licensed therapist in North and South Carolina and an AASECT-certified sex therapist. I work with neurodivergent adults navigating anxiety, mood challenges, burnout, and relationship or intimacy concerns.

Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel scattered, emotionally flooded, or stuck in patterns that don’t seem to change. They often know what they should be doing, but following through feels inconsistent or exhausting.

You might find yourself overthinking everything, avoiding tasks until the last minute, or feeling like your emotions go from zero to one hundred faster than you can catch up. Maybe you’re holding it together for everyone else, but behind the scenes it feels like a constant cycle of stress, frustration, and burnout.

I also bring personal insight as someone who understands what it’s like to navigate anxiety and a neurodivergent brain. That means our work is grounded in both clinical expertise and real-world understanding, without judgment or unrealistic expectations.

In addition to mood and anxiety work, I have specialized training in sexual health and intimacy. I support individuals and couples in navigating desire changes, communication challenges, and connection in a way that feels safe, informed, and approachable.

Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on results you can feel. I prioritize building a strong relationship with my clients and, when appropriate, I bring humor into the process to make the work feel more approachable and less heavy.

My clients are typically ready for more than just talking. They want tools, clarity, and meaningful change in how they feel, respond, and show up in their daily lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, structured, and focused on real-life change. With training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) since 2008, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR, I help you understand how your brain and nervous system operate while giving you tools you can actually use outside of session. This includes emotional regulation, managing overwhelm, improving communication, and building routines that fit your life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting a clear understanding of what’s bringing you in and whether we’re a good fit to work together.

We’ll talk through what’s been feeling most difficult lately, what patterns you’ve been noticing, and what you’d like to see change. I’ll ask questions to get a sense of your history, current stressors, and how things are showing up in your day-to-day life. You don’t need to prepare anything or have it all figured out. I’ll guide the conversation.

We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once, and you won’t be pushed beyond what feels comfortable.

You’ll also get a feel for how I work. I tend to be active and engaged, helping you connect the dots between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while beginning to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

By the end of the session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of what’s going on, what we can focus on moving forward, and whether this feels like the right space for them.

You’re also welcome to ask any questions about the process, my approach, or what ongoing therapy might look like.

The goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction.
