Great to meet you!

I am Blake Brewer, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina. I earned my degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and have built my practice around helping adults navigate life transitions, mood disorders, and the everyday stressors that can make life feel overwhelming. I work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and believe that every person's journey is unique. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward. I would love to be part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and tailored entirely to you. I draw from CBT to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, solution focused to build momentum toward your goals, and Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful change at your own pace. And I also integrate mindfulness practices to help you develop awareness.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and start building the foundation for our work together. I will ask about your life, your experiences, and what you are hoping will change. Together, we will begin identifying what meaningful progress looks like for you.
