Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of New Mexico with over 5 years of experience, primarily working with young adults. My practice prioritizes a space where you don't have to hide any part of yourself. I approach each client with openness, respect, and care, so you feel supported being your authentic self. My hope is that you experience therapy as a place where your emotions, your identity, and your story are honored without judgement.

My approach to therapy

My approach is empowering, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices to support you in building real-life skills for change. Together, we might explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, practice tools to manage overwhelming emotions, or focus on staying grounded in the present when stress or past experiences feel heavy. I also believe in looking at the deeper patterns that shape how you see yourself and your relationships, so you can create healthier and more fulfilling ways of relating both to yourself and others.

I adapt my approach to fit each person — sometimes that means gently challenging unhelpful patterns, and other times it means sitting with your emotions and making sense of them together. My goal is always to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered with strategies you can carry into your daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on creating a safe and welcoming space where you can share what brings you to therapy at your own pace. I’ll take time to get to know you as a whole person, while also exploring the challenges that feel most pressing right now.

Together, we’ll begin identifying not only the patterns or emotions you’d like to better understand, but also the skills that can support you day to day — whether that’s tools for calming overwhelming emotions, strategies for managing stress, or new ways of approaching relationships and decision-making.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you’ll feel both heard and supported, and that you’ll leave with the sense that therapy can be a place where you gain clarity, connection, and tangible skills to carry into your life right away.
