Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Bob Hamm, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Human Relations from University of Oklahoma. My approach is open-minded, curious, and grounded in real conversation, with room for humor when it fits. I primarily use talk therapy, CBT, and TF-CBT to support clients in understanding their experiences and building practical tools for change.

My approach to therapy

In sessions, you can expect thoughtful questions, honest conversation, and a space where you’re encouraged to be fully yourself. We’ll work at your pace, focusing on both understanding what’s going on beneath the surface and developing practical strategies you can use outside of therapy. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change—without taking ourselves so seriously that we forget you’re a real human living a real life.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, low-pressure space where we focus on getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, what you’d like to change or better understand, and what you hope to get from our work together. I aim to create an open-minded, supportive environment—with room for curiosity and appropriate humor—where you feel comfortable being yourself. By the end of the session, we’ll identify a few initial goals and a general plan for how we’ll move forward.
