Great to meet you!

I am a 60 year old, white, gay, cisgender male living my life between the Mountains of NC and the waters of the Florida Keys. This is how I present in the world.

The background that informs my therapy practice is - 30 years as a massage therapist, 20 years as a yogi (7 years as instructor) and 11 years as a therapist.

My training in San Francisco brought me to new appreciation of privilege, cultural awareness, social justice and the importance of individual spirituality in all of its many manifestations. The WHOLE person is the client - not just the wound. Our collaborative, strength based, self awareness will pave the path to empowerment and recovery for us.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is based in the body: how we move, breathe, and experience the world. Somatic psychotherapy centers the felt sense experience in our journey. I incorporate yoga, yoga philosophy, breathework, my back ground as a massage therapist, my training at the California Institute of Integral Studies and of course my own lived experience.

My holistic perspective creates a space for inquiry, curiosity, and exploration.

What you can expect from me

Safety in session and skills to build safety outside of session. I will listen. I will ask. I will push. I will support.

I will meet you where you are and together we will decide where to go from there. You are the expert on being you - teach me.
