Great to meet you!

I felt called to become a therapist for spiritual reasons and believing it is my life's purpose. I believe that wellness requires a holistic approach of maintenance of mind, body, and spirt all working in harmony. We become what we think about on a regular basis. If we love the planet we are also loving ourselves.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a come as you are approach. I believe in meeting clients where they are at with a gentle, humanistic approach. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, self esteem issues, living with a chronic illness, relationship issues, substance abuse issues, spirituality, domestic violence and post trauma. I use talk therapy with a CBT focused approach and utilize DBT, Mindfulness, meditation, fitness, nutrition, music therapy and spirituality.

What you can expect from me

I use a present minded approach and begin sessions with creating space for clients to release or share anything they find important. I often will begin a session with a mindfulness breathing meditation. Then, homework assignments and goals from the last session are discussed. I typically take time to discuss gratitude and have the client assess the quality of their thoughts and emotions since last time we talked. Finally, I end with meditation and tasks to complete before next session.
