Great to meet you!

For more than 20 years, I have been dedicated to helping adults, adolescents, and children navigate chronic mental and behavioral health challenges in community-based settings. My clinical focus includes supporting individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and relationship concerns.

I understand that change can be difficult, and my goal is to serve as a catalyst for positive change by helping each person build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve meaningful personal growth.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience hope, healing, and a fulfilling life, and I am committed to partnering with my clients as they work toward lasting emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

Drawing from a client-centered approach, I meet clients where they are and value the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. I also incorporate existential therapy to help individuals explore questions of meaning, purpose, identity, and personal values, particularly during times of transition or adversity. Using solution-focused techniques, I help clients recognize their strengths, build on existing resources, and develop practical strategies to achieve their goals.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to fit each person's experiences, challenges, and strengths. Together, we work to increase self-awareness, build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and create lasting, meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss what brought you to therapy. We'll explore your current concerns, your goals for treatment, and any previous therapy experiences that may help guide our work together. I'll also gather some background information to better understand your unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. Together, we'll begin creating a plan that feels comfortable, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.
