Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and specialize in trauma treatment (certified in neuropsychotheray (NPT-C), and trained in EMDR, Brainspotting and Flash). This means I tend to view experiences in terms of how it alters the brain functioning and use approaches that heal the impact of those experiences.

A bit about my approach to therapy

What motivates me most is witnessing folks find their strength, motivation, confidence, power, attitude, etc that allows them to move forward. If you could imagine sitting on the porch with a tea or lemonade and having that person who will laugh with you, be sad with you, strategize with you and occasionally tell you what you don't want to hear but need to hear? That is a bit of what it is like working with me.

What you can expect from our first session

These sessions are yours. I want you to get out of them what you want and not what I want for you. That doesn't mean that I will not push you but it does mean that I will push you toward what you want. I also want you to know that you don't have to tell me everything and we can still work to help you move forward.
