Great to meet you!

Are you a man who’s been holding it together for everyone else — while quietly burning out, snapping more than you’d like, or feeling disconnected from what (and who) matters most?

I’m Dr. Brandon Wilde, and for nearly 20 years I’ve helped men and couples in Utah — and via telehealth across Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Idaho — get from surviving to actually thriving again. Whether it’s burnout, relationship strain, the weight of fatherhood, or just that persistent feeling that something’s off, I help you figure out what’s driving it and build a clear path forward.

My approach is practical and evidence-based: I use CBT to reframe the thoughts keeping you stuck, ACT to rebuild connection with what matters, and solution-focused strategies so we’re creating change, not just talking about it.

I work with high performers, fathers, and men who want real results — not just venting sessions. If you’re ready to feel strong, clear, and connected again, let’s talk. Book an intake consultation and let’s see if we’re a good fit.

I'm currently accepting new clients and accept most major insurance plans. Cash pay clients receive a 20% discount when you complete your intake session within 7 days of completing the necessary paperwork.

My approach to therapy

My approach is straightforward, solution-focused, and designed for real results. I don't do therapy that's just talking—we work together to create actual change in your life.

I draw from evidence-based therapeutic modalities including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of stress, anxiety, or anger.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to reconnect you to your core values and help you take meaningful action even when difficult emotions show up.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to identify what's already working in your life and expand those strengths into areas where you're struggling.

Existential Therapy for deeper exploration when you're facing questions about meaning, identity, purpose, and direction—especially during major life transitions or periods of feeling lost.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples work, helping partners understand their emotional patterns and rebuild secure attachment and connection.

In therapy with me, you'll gain practical tools for managing stress and difficult emotions, improve your communication skills (especially with your partner), develop better emotional regulation, and create a clearer sense of direction and purpose in your life. Each session focuses on actionable strategies you can implement immediately—not just insights, but real change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll talk about the logistical side of our work together, what's bringing you in, what you've tried before (if anything), and what you're hoping will be different. I'll ask questions to understand your situation, but I won't make you tell me your whole life story unless it's relevant. My goal is to understand what's happening now and what you want to change.

From there, we'll work collaboratively. I'll offer perspectives, tools, and strategies, but you're the expert on your own life. We'll figure out together what approaches work best for you.

Most sessions focus on: nervous system regulation, understanding patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; developing practical coping strategies for stress and difficult emotions; improving communication skills; identifying your values and aligning your actions with what matters most; and creating concrete plans for change.

You'll leave each session with something actionable—a new perspective, a specific tool, a communication strategy to try, or clarity on next steps. Therapy with me isn't passive; it's collaborative work toward real change and you’ll leave sessions with a task that you can work on.

Note: the first session will cover fees, insurance, legal and logistical elements of therapy, and some time gathering information to formulate a plan.
