Great to meet you!

I provide outpatient mental health counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. Services include individual therapy, family therapy, and caregiver support sessions. Treatment focuses on emotional regulation, anxiety management, behavioral concerns, family communication, self-esteem, and coping with life stressors. I graduated from Langston University with a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I believe healing begins when individuals feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences without judgment. In our work together, my goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build emotional awareness, and develop practical tools they can use in everyday life.

I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, expressive art, recognizing that every person brings unique experiences, resilience, and personal strengths into the therapeutic process. Rather than focusing only on problems, I work with clients to identify what is already working in their lives and build upon those strengths to create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, supportive space for therapy. During this session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be experiencing, and what you hope to gain from counseling.

I will ask questions about your current concerns, life experiences, relationships, and any stressors that may be affecting your emotional well-being. This helps me better understand your unique situation and begin identifying ways we can work together toward your goals.
