Great to meet you!

Hey! I’m Breanna Cherry.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland, and I’m so glad you’re here—because reaching out for support takes real strength. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University (shoutout to my HBCU fam!), and I’ve been doing this work with heart and purpose ever since.

I’ve worked with people from all walks of life—kids as young as 5, teens trying to figure it out, adults carrying heavy loads, and everything in between. What I’ve learned over the years is that healing doesn’t look the same for everyone. That’s why I use an eclectic approach. I don’t do one-size-fits-all therapy, because your story deserves more care than that.

I’m down-to-earth, and I bring my full self into the session. Yes, I like to laugh and keep things real, but I also know healing is serious business. My job is to hold a space where you feel safe, heard, and seen—without judgment. I never want sessions to feel cold or stuffy. This is your space to be honest, to feel, to grow, and to walk away with something that truly supports your well-being.

So if you’re ready to do the work—with someone who will meet you where you are and walk with you through it—I’m here. Let’s take that next step together.

My approach to therapy

As a mental health therapist, I’m all about real, honest conversations. The kind where you don’t have to shrink yourself, sugarcoat your pain, or pretend to have it all together. I’m here to help you unpack what’s weighing on you, recognize the strength you already carry, and walk alongside you as you work toward the life you want.

I know just thinking about starting therapy can be overwhelming. It’s vulnerable. And sometimes it’s scary. That’s why I meet people exactly where they are—no pressure, no judgment—just support and room to grow at your own pace.

My commitment is to show up with compassion and realness, to hold space for your truth, and to remind you that healing doesn’t mean being perfect—it means choosing yourself, one step at a time. I’m honored to do this work, and I don’t take it lightly when someone lets me be a part of their healing journey. Whether you’re just getting started or picking things back up!

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and more connected to themselves. I offer a space that’s real, down-to-earth, and judgment-free—where we can laugh, get honest, and focus on what truly helps you grow. Whether it’s clarity, new tools, or just a chance to breathe and be yourself, my goal is for you to walk away with something that genuinely supports your healing and well-being.
