Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical support. I specialize in working with children and teens experiencing behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and difficulties related to life transitions, school stress, peer relationships, and family dynamics.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, engaging, and child-centered. I believe children make the greatest progress when they feel safe enough to be themselves, so I strive to create a space where they can laugh, play, express big emotions, and feel genuinely accepted without fear of judgment.

While sessions are fun and interactive, they are always purposeful. I use play, creativity, humor, and developmentally appropriate activities to build rapport and help children develop insight, emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, and confidence. I meet each child where they are while recognizing their unique strengths, personality, and interests.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and helping you feel comfortable. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so there is no expectation to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

For children, I often begin by incorporating play, conversation, or activities that help build trust and allow their personality to shine. I believe children communicate in many different ways, and my goal is to create a safe, engaging environment where they feel free to be themselves.
