Great to meet you!

I am a queer psychotherapist with extensive experience working with and advocating for the LGBTAI+ community. I received my MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work in East Harlem. I work primarily with queer individuals interested in improving relationships and community support.

I am also a professional facilitator with extensive experience coaching individuals of marginalized identities through work and career challenges.

My approach to therapy

I use a liberation health model to create a better understanding of mental health issues as symptoms of systemic oppression. My sessions encourage open exploration and meaning-making of life experiences. I am interested in helping my clients bridge healthy relationships with neighbors, friends, colleagues, family, and partners. The therapeutic relationship can be leveraged to this end.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will lay the foundation for our working relationship. We will explore what brought you to therapy now and what you hope to gain from the experience. I invite you to bring any questions about me or the therapeutic process, including any concerns or trepidations you have about beginning therapy.
