Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change. My goal is to offer a space where you don’t have to hold everything together and where we can begin to understand what’s been weighing on you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I bring a warm, steady, and collaborative approach to therapy, grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is psychodynamic and trauma-informed, which means we’ll look not only at what is happening right now, but also at the underlying patterns, relationships, and past experiences that may still be shaping how you feel and respond today. I believe symptoms like anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional numbness often make sense when we understand where they come from. Therapy with me is about slowing things down enough to notice those patterns, so we can create space for something different to emerge. When helpful, I also integrate CBT and strengths-based tools to support day-to-day coping with stress, anxiety, and mood changes, tailoring our work to what you need rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

Clients often describe me as calm, attentive, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a space that feels steady and nonjudgmental, where you can show up as you are without pressure to have everything figured out. In our first session, we’ll talk through what brought you in, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. From there, we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and collaborative. My role is not to “fix” you, but to help you better understand yourself, your patterns, and your needs so you can make choices that feel more aligned and sustainable over time. When you are ready, I invite you to book a free consultation with me.
