Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed clinician with a deep passion for supporting individuals and families through compassionate, collaborative care. My background includes crisis response work in domestic violence, sexual assault, and community-based street outreach (working alongside law enforcement), as well as experience in private practice, which has shaped my ability to meet people with presence, respect, and authenticity in life’s most challenging moments. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and my Master of Social Work from Boise State University. My approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from family systems, EMDR, mind-body bridging, somatic techniques, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness. I bring a steady, approachable presence to my work—balancing clinical skill with genuine warmth—and believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, seen, and empowered in their healing.

My approach to therapy

I approach my work with clients from a trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative lens. My style is warm, direct, and attuned—I strive to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, explore deeply, and move at a pace that feels right for them. I integrate a range of evidence-based practices, including EMDR, somatic work, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and family systems, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I have a strong background in working with trauma, nervous system regulation, and individuals navigating high-stress or crisis experiences, and I also support clients in building emotional resilience, self-awareness, and healthier relationship patterns.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, empowered, and connected—to themselves and others. Together, we often focus on increasing emotional regulation, processing past experiences that may still be impacting the present, and developing practical tools that support lasting change. I aim to create an environment that balances structure with compassion, where clients feel both supported and gently challenged as they move toward meaningful growth and healing.
