Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor, with a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University. My fundamental clinical approach spanning over 20 years during individualized therapy is to use a person center and strength-based approach to unlock mental/physical barriers with fulfillment, wellness and redefining purpose in one's life.

My approach to therapy

Often life circumstances, such as financial constraints, environmental influences, upbringing, and limited role modeling, hinder or diminish our ability to experience happiness and achievement. With over 20 years of clinical experience as a dual licensed professional counselor & certified substance abuse counselor My areas of expertise encompass anxiety, depression, relational issues, substance use & associated work stress

What you can expect from me

Our space together is one of non-judgment, openness from me as your therapist, and a place where we partner together to work through obstacles preventing happiness in your life. Homework is given post therapy sessions as a means of being more self-aware and leading towards opportunities to develop a stronger insight into problem solving many different life areas. Vulnerability and transparency for my clients has improved outcomes with their relationships, career enhancement and inner peace.
