Great to meet you!

Brian is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a certified addiction professional. He has provided therapy in a variety of settings from county jails to college campuses. Brian believes adversity is often an opportunity for growth. He has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing substance abuse and their families. He also has significant experience working with young adults, helping them process developmental challenges and family-of-origin concerns.

My approach to therapy

Brian uses client centered therapy to provide a therapeutic environment wherein he utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to identify and address maladaptive cognitive and behavioral patterns. He also utilizes motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy. He sees himself as a guide, helping patients find their own answers through a collaborative process.

What you can expect from me

Brian's primary goal in therapy is to foster an environment wherein clients feel understood and safe to explore their inner dynamics. Brian places emphasis on client autonomy, helping individuals find their path.
