My approach to counseling is grounded in person-centered therapy and incorporates aspects of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy.

I strive to create an atmosphere of empathy, authenticity, non-judgment, and empowerment which allows clients to work collaboratively in identifying their goals and what changes need to be made in order to reduce emotional distress, maladaptive thinking patterns, and/or behavioral concerns.
