Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm happy you're here! Therapy isn't always an easy step, but I'm glad you've decided to prioritize yourself. As a counselor, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. I've been practicing for 12 years with most of that time focused on working with Veterans. In most recent years, I've also focused on working with first responders and their families. As a "fire wife", I know how difficult and isolating it can be managing this lifestyle while trying to support your loved one. I also recognize the significant impact this career can have on mental health, and I am committed to providing supportive, collaborative care that promotes healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, pragmatic, and individualized, integrating evidence-based interventions with an emphasis on resilience and personal growth. I also utilize a direct and transparent style that offers constructive challenges to facilitate meaningful progress, all within a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment where you are encouraged to share at your own pace. I take time to get to know you, listen to your story, and understand your goals for therapy, while also answering any questions you may have about the process. My priority is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and valued. Building trust is essential, and my goal is for you to leave the first session with a sense of comfort, connection, and the confidence that this is a space you will want to return to as we work together toward healing and growth.
