Great to meet you!
Hi! My name is Brianna, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York and North Carolina. I've been working in the mental health field for over seven years and I help people with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and low self-esteem.
Are you someone who puts your head down to rest at night and suddenly there's hundreds of thoughts racing through your mind? Even when you do get sleep you wake up feeling unrested and with a pit of worry in your gut? Do you feel so exhausted that saying "no" feels more like a stressful job rather than setting a healthy boundary? Negative thought patterns can dull our ability to feel and experience happiness, and the more intrusive and recurrent they become, the harder it becomes to believe and even say the "positive" words or affirmations that social media told you would change your life.
You've tried the gratitude journaling, the self-help books, the fancy agenda's, the meditations, and it feels like nothing has worked. Feelings of isolation, discouragement, and defeat settle in.
