Great to meet you!

I received my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University Of North Carolina at Pembroke.

I have experience working in Child Protective services as a case manager. Thorough my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diversity of populations to include veteran's, pregnant teens, youth, and families from various ethnic and economic backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

Counseling plays a crucial role in self-care. Establishing an open and honest therapeutic relationship is essential to achieving optimal outcomes. My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on challenging negative thought patterns and beliefs. Through CBT, I assist clients in developing strategies to effectively manage life situations and improve their mental well-being.

What you can expect from me

I provide my clients with a safe judgment free space to work though past and present issues, trauma, and life stressors. Come see me for your counseling needs and feel free to refer a friend.
